Flying like a Bird in the Sky

I've been on Flights before and was on a flight just now.

Sounds cliche, but I feel like a Bird in the Sky!

Took off in the dark and saw the city pass by swiftly below me. All the lights glimmering and shimmering like a City of Gold and Diamonds....
A City that we keep cursing is so dirty and badly maintained, has the capability of looking beautiful and well organized from above!

Is it perception? Or is it that we fail to see the Beauty that is constantly around us? Are we too busy with our lives that we don't have the time to see and appreciate things that have been a part of us and a part of our lives?
Do we appreciate the surroundings only when we look at it from a Bird's Eye View? (Quite like myself unfortunately).

Makes me reflect on the Evolved Lives of the Modern Human Being! We have Lost ourselves within our own self-created Worlds and have completely forgotten about the World that made us a Part of It. It never forgot us, yet we forget it.
Man is Selfish! In my opinion, the most selfish of all Creatures on Earth. Don't think I'm wrong....

So, I have these thoughts in my Head at a height of about 30000 feet. Supposed to be a little Light headed at this point.

But, I am Flying like a Bird in the Sky!
