Who is a Leader?

A leader is one who guides you. 

A leader is one who shows you the path. 

A leader is one you follow. 

A leader is one who shows you how to make your own path. 

A leader teaches you to be independent. 

A leader stands in front of you, no matter what. 

A leader believes in you. 

A leader motivates you. 

A leader corrects you when you go wrong and shows you how to never make that mistake again. 

A leader is always there when you need him, as a mentor, as a colleague, as a friend.

Who is a leader? 

Loosen the knots

All our life we are tied.

Tied in ways we don't even realize. 

Tied by ropes that are sometimes invisible and sometimes visible. 

Tied so we meet expectations. 

Tied so we follow all normal societal rules and regulations. 

Tied so we learn the right and perceived right things. 

Tied so we do everything as we are told to do. 

Tied so we learn how to think about what we should do and not what we want to do. 

Ropes so tight, ropes so thick, ropes so rough, you get used to them. 

Till a day comes when those very ropes get so tight you want to cut them up entirely and fling them away.

Ropes so frustrating, they make you rebellious. 

I'm not saying loose the ropes altogether, just loosen the knots. 

Loosen the knots... 

Circle of Life.

We rise from the ashes.

We come as infants. 

We wait to grow into toddlers. 

We turn into toddlers. 

We wait to grow into teenagers. 

We turn into teenagers. 

We wait to grow up. 

We go to college. 

We wait to start working. 

We start working. 

We wait to retire. 

We retire. 

We wait to turn into ashes. 

And the clock keeps going around to complete the...

I am the one who gets crushed when you disagree. 

I am the one who gets decorated when you love me.

I am a blank piece of paper.

That sinking feeling

Draw a picture that is like a spiral.

It starts with a bright colourful outer ring, slowly changing shades as it moves closer to the center.

Shades that are darker and tints of the original colors.

Keep tinting them till it reaches the center which is as dark as it can get, the blackest black, so much so that it looks like a never ending abyss.

A hole so deep that looks like you'll never get out of it.

A hole so dark that no Ray of light can reach.

A hole so dark that nothing is visible, not even your own thoughts.

A hole so deep that how much ever you try, you'll just keep going down.

A hole so deep, I've got dirt under my nails that I can't even see, and still no sign of an opening.
